The launch of Plastician's Terrorhythm night, named after the label he has run for over 10 years.

With Plastician venturing onto pastures new exploring a more broadened selection, this night aims to replicate the diversity in sound on his Friday night Rinse FM slot and translate it into a party, with Plastician calling in the talents of DJ's playing all manner of music across the span of the evening.
After spending some time in Los Angeles this year, Plastician was keen to recreate the atmosphere he experienced at legendary event, Low End Theory - hosted by Brainfeeder mainstays Gaslamp Killer and Flying Lotus. A mash of electronic music across all tempos and structures, Low End has been a key part of the Los Angeles music calendar for some time, and Terrorhythm plans to represent that notion in South London, much like FWD has done in East London for the past decade.

Alongside Plastician will be new Terrorhythm signing Anton F, fellow Rinse FM DJ's, and house music connoisseurs Funk Butcher and Able, Laxx of Wheel & Deal fame, and two acts discovered for the event by posting mixes to the Terrorhythm facebook page: Skit with his bass infused cocktail of styles around 150bpm and Darkstepper who supplies an infectious blend to finish a stellar line up for the launch party.

The event will take place in the basement of Brixton's prestigious Plan B venue. The room is small, which was key to Plastician who insisted on finding a South London space with a real intimate feel, in order to create a party atmosphere which is sometimes lost in larger spaces. Here is a chance to experience an eclectic blend of good music, surrounded by a collection of likeminded DJ's and revellers, and hopefully the start of something special. Expect a party atmosphere if Terrorhythm's 10 year birthday celebration at Cable in late 2012 is anything to go by!
